Supported over 20 providers for needed procedures on adult and some pediatric patients. IV Therapy, bladder scans and catheters, ABI's, wound care simple and complex, PICC dressing changes with blood draws, injections, allergy shots as well as independent nurse visits. I was also responsible to over see the LPN and MA positions. Since I was a float, I often worked at a different clinic as well in a similar duty or worked some days entirely in the nurse treatment room where independent nurse treatments were performed. This was a very high volume clinic and my strength was my flexibility to work wherever I was needed with little supervision. My co-workers always enjoyed it when I worked in their areas. I'm known as a positive change agent, very friendly, positive and loyal. I have dependability with no drama or gossip. I fully support my management and aim at making them successful as well by achieving their important objectives.

  • RN Float, Wound Care and Pain Clinic at Banner Hospital
    Dec 2011 - May 2012 · 6 mos

In wound clinic, I would offer triage and treatments for chronic wounds. Complex wound care involved NPWT, HBO, Mist therapy, Wound matrix enhancement, compression wraps and case management. I assisted physicians in a very busy clinic for debridement, contact casts and specialty wound applications. Some treatments were nurse visits only. I worked occasionally in the pain clinic, I assisted physicians by admitting a hight volume of patients, electronically documenting a thorough history, assessment and then preparing patient's with IV's for spinal injections and ablations. I often assisted in procedures or recovered, taught and discharged patients post conscious sedation. Often I would call patients the next day to check on their condition and gather surveys.
