my story could be yours. It's one of opportunity and passion. Professionalism and a genuine interest in and care for people led me to my current job. Passion comes in many flavours – and we need it in all fields. Here at CERN we appreciate uniqueness, and get our strength from diversity. So, Take part! - as this is the only place where you can do this work this way. http://jobs.web.cern.ch/

Once in Casablanca, I started job-hunting. My objective was clear: I wanted to live my Moroccan experience so excluded opportunities to work for European or American multinationals, and I wanted to get my first experience in the HR field. Until I got recruited by S2M, I worked for a short period for the Chambre de Commerce Belgo-Luxembourgeoise (writing and translating articles) and for the Belgian Consulate (interviews for so-called white marriages). In S2M, I started work as an executive assistant, and slowly moved my role towards HR and marketing. In this company, very little HR systems and processes were in place, and it was a fantastic opportunity to apply & test textbook learnings.
5 years of teaching experience, mainly Spanish total immersion classes. I absolutely loved this job - and benefited from great feedbacks from students and hierarchy. The class experience, constant renewal of materials, sharing practices and approaches with colleagues in other languages as well as accompanying on language and culture trips were all sources of satisfaction. The only reason why I left this job is the fear of waking up at 40, and being a teacher by default, not by positive choice. That's why I started my studies in HR, marketing and market research, whilst working full-time. All of this with the conviction I would make a side-step but return to my first love.
