Medical Biotechnology graduate with a strong interest in cancer biology and translational oncology research. Through academic training and an international Master's thesis internship at Heidelberg University, I have developed hands-on experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques and gained insight into the investigation of disease-related molecular mechanisms. During my thesis project, I worked with colorectal cancer cell lines to validate RNA-sequencing data, applying techniques including mammalian cell culture, RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, RT-qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and Western blotting. This experience strengthened my interest in understanding the molecular pathways driving tumor development and progression, as well as in identifying potential targets for future therapeutic strategies. My research interests include tumor biology, gene regulation, cancer genomics, molecular oncology, and the translational application of laboratory findings to improve our understanding of cancer and support the development of innovative treatments. I enjoy working in collaborative and international research environments and am motivated by scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and continuous learning. I am currently interested in opportunities within cancer research, including PhD programs, Research Assistant and Research Associate positions in academic institutions, research centers, biotechnology companies, and pharmaceutical organizations focused on oncology and translational research.
