About

I am a Chemical and Process Engineer focused on computational modelling for industrial systems. I work where machine learning meets physics‑based methods, using both to design, optimize, and monitor complex chemical processes in a way that stays robust, explainable, and scalable. I’m driven by the idea that intelligent modelling can make large‑scale industrial systems safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. Outside engineering, I enjoy learning languages, playing the piano, and long‑distance running, which keep me curious and energized. Let’s connect!

Experience

  • Process Modelling Engineer at CASALE
    Nov 2025 - Present · 8 mos

Develop and validate computational models of chemical and industrial processes to analyze system behavior, optimize performance, and support design decisions. Apply data analysis and machine learning techniques to process design, monitoring and predictive modelling. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability of industrial operations.

  • Research Fellow at CAPE-Lab, University of Padua
    Feb 2025 - Nov 2025 · 10 mos

Developed a physics-informed, AI-based framework able to extract insights from complex datasets building interpretable engineering models. In parallel, worked on a project for real‑time monitoring and information extraction to support fast, data‑driven industrial decision making.

  • Intern at Polyglass SpA / Mapei Group
    Feb 2023 - Jun 2023 · 5 mos

Analyzed supply chain data and process-performance relationships to reduce manufacturing costs and improve production reliability.

  • Research Fellow at CerAMglass, University of Padua
    Aug 2022 - Jan 2023 · 6 mos

Contributed to the development of geo-polymeric materials that selectively bind COx, NOx, and water. Focused on material design, characterization, and property optimization using design of experiments.
