FUNCTION: Software Developer, as Technical expert, with the responsibility of complete life cycle of embedded SW components for Telecommunication equipment (IPDSLAM: EDA1200 e EDA2500) used in the Access Network. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS: • Implementation of new SW components, including unit tests and basic joint tests • SW design maintenance, mainly of components related to copper access xDSL interfaces (ADSL, ADSL2/2+, VDSL2 and SHDSL) . • Analysis and solution of problems and bugs in the customer field, also interacting with Maintenance Customer Support Team or directly with the customer self. Remote or direct on-site debug session in the field. • Internal Point of Contact for the relation and support requests to xDSL chipset and application supplier. • Test bench setup to reproduce problems in the field within in the laboratory context. Management of internal xDSL test measurement inside SW laboratory. • Cooperation with external suppliers for third-party SW components in order to develop and integrate new features. Driving of design requirements for externally developed SW components. • Contribution and review of system pre-study documents and technical manual. • Expert on “line test methodology” on copper wire (DELT, SELT, VSELTm MELT). • Joining Plugfest and IT fairs Ericsson’s technical and business spokesman at DSL-IOL unit at the University of New Hampshire (US). From December 2009 to June 2010 on-site transfer of embedded software for IPDSLAM application from Ericsson Denmark Department in Struer (Denmark)
