About

I'm Lorenzo Greggio, currently working as a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer at STMicroelectronics. My role involves developing and maintaining software solutions for CAM and MES systems. I'm passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes through the integration of advanced digital tools, application design, and automation systems, consistently aiming to enhance operational efficiency. With a degree in Computer Engineering and Automation, specializing in drones from Università UnieCampus, I've gained strong expertise in designing, simulating, implementing, managing, and maintaining complex hardware and software systems. My thesis explored the materials, performance, and customization possibilities offered by 3D printing in cycling. My professional journey at STMicroelectronics began as an operator specialized in semiconductor and microprocessor manufacturing, evolving into software development during an internship. There, I contributed significantly to the creation of an interactive digital bulletin board, "Touch Point," recognized with the company's "Team Project" award. I am proficient in Java and AWK, with hands-on experience in full-stack web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Additionally, I have solid experience in cybersecurity, CAD modeling, additive manufacturing technologies, and artificial intelligence applications. I'm always driven by innovation, continuous learning, and applying problem-solving skills to technological challenges.
