Experience

  • Terrain (11 yrs)
    • Associate Creative Director
      Oct 2022 - Present · 3 yrs 9 mos

As a store designer, I’m responsible for shaping the full in‑store experience from concept to opening day. I design the store environment and create custom fixtures that support both the brand’s identity and the practical needs of merchandising. My work includes developing detailed floor plans that optimize traffic flow, product visibility, and operational efficiency. I also manage the procurement process for all fixtures—coordinating with vendors, reviewing samples, tracking production, and ensuring everything arrives on schedule. When it’s time to open, I lead the fixture and display builds on‑site, guiding teams through installation, troubleshooting issues, and making sure the final space reflects the design vision down to the last detail.

Worked directly with the store Merchandiser to create environments that highlighted the appearance of products and reflected the customers lifestyle interests. Prioritized and planned projects to ensure timely execution. Efficiently utilized display materials by re-purposing old fixtures to ensure display budgets could be met. Adapted Company direction and updates to fit my stores needs. Used Google Sketchup to present my ideas and placement of fixtures during seasonal changes. Final execution of floor sets consisted of hand building custom fixtures from scratch, applying vinyl graphics and art to the windows, adding art layers for aesthetic appeal to stay ahead of current trends.
