Research Projects Undertaken Prepared nanocomposite using nano particles and thermoset unsaturated polyester resins, Epoxy resin, polyurethane and were successfully implemented in polymer reinforcement and surface coating, automotive coatings. Achieved carbon nano bead synthesis in laboratory and developed process for preparation of inorganic nanoparticles. Successfully designed and synthesized biodegradable polyesters and polylactic acid. Developed UV curable unsaturated polyester and epoxy resins and implemented in UV curable powder coatings. Successfully Synthesized free flowing Ketonic resins beads using suspension polymerization for printing inks and allied applications. Synthesized polyesteramide resins modified with various vegetable oils and dibasic acids and applied same in industrial coatings. Developed FRP based on unsaturated polyesters, natural fibers and glass fibers. Process intensification and purity improvement in Synthesis of 7-Amino Cephalosporanic acid (7-ACA).This is used as an intermediate for various pharmaceutical and dyestuff industry
