My long-term goal is to utilize my education and experience at Oklahoma State to pursue a career in Professional Styling for a global fashion house that specializes in sustainable design. I believe in empowering people through their fashion choices. Similar to when you go for a job interview or on a date, I want to help people dress for success. My education will provide the fundamentals of visual merchandising, design theory, and production processes for styled garments while a study abroad program will introduce me to global ideas and cultural diversity in design. Garment production-through-end cycle sustainability is an important aspect of both the fashion industry and reducing global pollution.
