So this is what I commit to creating with my work and I do this through iyarn. I have a podcast iyarn yarns which is streamed on all platforms. This is where I have yarns with leaders, where I unpack their stories of resilience and success. The podcast features business and community leaders as well as discovering a winners mindset through sharing elite athlete's daily routines that set's them up for success. I have previously worked in energy production, Tech Start-up’s, sharing economy, and NFP sector. I founded the Indigenous Communities Education and Awareness Foundation (ICEA), with a clear purpose of Reconciliation inspired by young people. Developing the foundation saw me represent Australia internationally at the United Nations, CHOGM and the G20 summit where I was in leadership and advocacy roles. These roles developed my understanding of sustainable development, in both developing and developed countries with a particular interest in social enterprises. I took a leadership role with the market-leading ride share car provider Splend Australia, since its infancy in late 2015, initially establishing the Western Australian and South Australian operation. In 2017 I established the companies Policy and Corporate Affairs division based in Sydney. In my early years, I was a sprint Kayaker and competed internationally for Australia with a WAIS (Western Australian Institute of Sport) scholarship from 2009 - 2012. I graduated from the University of Western Australia with a commerce degree majoring in Investment finance, Corporate finance, and Financial Accounting in 2012.

Western Australians are, in many ways, an ocean and coastally-oriented community, with a deep, multilayered history of connection to the coast over millennia. Yet much of what the ocean and coast provide to us is invisible and undervalued. Also partially obscured are many profound changes in ocean health, some of which are manifestations of global trends, others local. Western Australia has made commendable progress in recognising the importance of conserving our distinctive ocean ecosystems and has experienced some of the widespread benefits that flow from conservation action, but there is clearly a long way to go. We believe there is a significant opportunity to do more to tap the abiding passion that so many Western Australians have for the ocean and coast, and channel that interest and conviction in positive ways to support the next wave of the ocean and coastal conservation priorities. World Oceans Day, June 8, provides an annual moment to draw the WA community’s attention to our extraordinarily diverse marine environment, and to motivate everyone – from school children to leaders in their fields to take specific, meaningful action to keep our big blue backyard healthy, productive, and accessible to all.
