Based in Copenhagen, Lockenwitz is an industrial design studio specializing in personal electronics and medical technology. We help our clients create distinctive, user-centred products that feel right and work beautifully. For more than fifteen years, the studio has collaborated with leading brands on projects ranging from high-end audio and notebooks to laboratory instruments and hearing devices. Our work combines character, emotion and detail to turn ideas into products people truly value. Founded by Christian Lockenwitz, the studio draws on over two decades of experience designing for global brands. Whether wearable, handheld or technical, each project is guided by a deep understanding of users and a clear sense of form and function.
During my years with David Lewis I had the good fortune to work with a number of exciting projects. I was responsible for design and project management within the areas of Consumer & Automotive Audio, Lighting and White Goods. My primary responsibility was for the development of design solutions for Mr. Lewis' client Bang & Olufsen's Automotive Division. Worked closely with B&O's product development teams and the company's partners in the automotive business, primarily AUDI. Also responsible for various other audio products, lighting products, signage systems and user interfaces for kitchen appliances.
