About

I was a tech entreprenuer; now I'm just trying to do good work. I graduated in computer science for namesake in 2000 from Delhi University; I mostly went to college to sell CDs with software I downloaded off internet. I had already started my professional career before that as an unemployable programmer, and a hacker in 1997. As luck had it, a misspelled email in 2001 got me to Tucson, Arizona in 2003. That same year I founded Ejunkie, a service aimed to remove technology barrier for people wanting to sell their digital content directly to buyers. In 2010, I got pretty jaded; had a crisis of meaning of sorts. I came to India in 2011 to see if there's a way I could be happy - perpetually. 18 months of soul searching, and a stroke of luck again put me on the path of service - to help those who can't help themselves. I took 6 months to somewhat wrap up my life in the U.S., and started working in animal welfare in India, in Feb 2013. Realizing that to bring real change, we need to change how people think, In 2014 along with two other co-founders I started Peepal Farm - a place for animals to heal, and be heard. I've been building it, running it, and living there since. It's been a good ride.
