Student Assistant at the Institute for Structural Engineering - research unit for Structural Concrete
- Creation of construction schedules (time horizon to 2030) with MS Project for a hospital construction project with a net contract volume of 220 million € - Lead user for the financial controlling software (COOR), Audit of the contractual partners involved in said hospital project - Development of flow charts for project execution (plan delivery management, planning process with user integration, invoicing, ...)
- Accompaniment during site management and site meetings - Support with data quality (pitFM) & with market and potential analysis - Significant participation in the tendering process; quantity take-offs for tenders, cost estimates, control of the award file as well as checking of the offers for plausibility of the pricing, support in the opening of offers - Support in the acquisition of new customers as well as in the organization and work scheduling of service technicians - Usage of various procurement portals (ANKÖ, PROVIA, etc.)
- Application of practical knowledge on the construction site, insight into construction site coordination on site, regular dialog with foreman & site manager - Demonstration of IT skills with controlling programmes & MS Excel - Proper construction site accounting in accordance with Austrian legal norms - Checking the existing service framework in the tender phase by determining quantities - Participation in the tendering process incl. submission of offers & obtaining offers from subcontractors - Enforcement of cost claims in the sense of claim management
