Collaborated with event marketing team to streamline event procurement operations and developed a strategic meetings management program- SMMP. Sourced/Implemented a meetings management tool for registration of large internal events. Manage meetings policy and event/sponsorship contracts. Responsible for sourcing and implementing annual global hotel process and hotel program. Manage global travel program and preferred travel management company. Provided analysis and sourcing support to drive process improvements and cost savings initiatives. Delivered savings for programs such as office supplies, shuttle services, and corporate credit card program. I learned the evolution of building a procurement process to evolving to a strategic sourcing team and learning the disciplines of various sourcing/procurement strategies. I developed new skills in contract negotiations, reporting, RFPs, RFIs, deep business/spend analysis, travel, and managing credit card programs.
