INSEAD MBA, currently part of the investment team at Operating Partners Group private equity, London. My role covers the full deal cycle, from origination through to transaction completion, as well as post-acquisition work such as value creation and restructuring. Prior to this I was a Manager in the Strategy and Value Creation team at Aurelius Private Equity. In this role I focused on improving the performance of our portfolio companies, with a current focus on the consumer industry, specifically fashion. Prior to Aurelius I was an Associate in McKinsey's Private Equity and Principal Investors Practice. In this role I conducted both sell-side and buy-side commercial due diligences in a range of industries including consumer, logistics, healthcare, and software. These included acquisitions by private equity firms, strategic buyers, and deals to take public companies private. In my previous role as an Associate in Accenture's M&A team my work was split between pre- and post-deal, covering the entire deal cycle from diligence to post-merger integration. I am also former Executive Manager for Hicell Holdings, the largest and most long-standing Business Partner of Vodacom, owned by Vodafone, a mobile- and fixed network service provider in South Africa. Navigating the telecommunications industry in an era of disruption has made me a critical but creative thinker, and strengthened my ability to analyse data, manage operations for optimal efficiency and engage multiple stakeholders with competing objectives. During my time in this role I identified- and analysed M&A opportunities, presenting them to the CEO and COO and overseeing the process from initiation to full integration of approved acquisition opportunities. I am also the founder of Plasta, an FMCG brand which sells plasters that suit a range of skin tones. This venture taught me a great deal about business management and finances including forecasting and budgeting, international and localised logistics, supply chain management, and project management. This entrepreneurial venture equipped me with invaluable experience and knowledge as an executive.
