As Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Community Transport, I lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who provide accessible, affordable, and reliable transportation services to the local community. I have been in this role for seven months, coming from Director level, and I am responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and strategy of the organization, as well as developing and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders, funders, and regulators. I have more than 15 years of experience in the passenger transport industry, having begun in Administration at this fantastic organisation. I have a strong background in customer service, administration, finance, project management, and travel and tourism. I hold both the Passenger Manager and the Road Haulage Manager CPC certificates, which demonstrate my knowledge and competence in managing transport operations in compliance with the law and best practice. I am also a member of the board of trustees at Top Church Training, a charity that provides education and training opportunities to the disadvantaged and unemployed, and sit on the Board of Governors at a local Primary School. I am motivated by the mission of making a positive difference in people's lives through transport and education.
