I was the Solution Architect of Sky News Tardis project in UK. As a key vendor and central of the entire news workflow, I was involved in the whole scale solution design, implementation, delivery and testing. Responsibilities: • Responsible for making sure the solution designs fit the needs of the customer, and at the same time protects the integrity of Viz One, and the interests of Vizrt. • Define a solution that meets those requirements by using the existing components and suggesting development of new functionality. • PoCs, Time and resource estimations, high level designs, RFP replies and sales activities • Technical lead of the entire project phrase.
I was a member of the NEMEA professional services team located in Stockholm. My overall responsibility was to design, deploy, implement and deliver high quality MAM solutions to customers together with the solution architect and project manager. Responsibilities: • Plan system architecture and new usage of the Viz One system with our clients by determining hardware and software system functional specifications. • Work with an advanced and end-to-end live and VOD streaming platform based on high performance compression using the latest codecs, protocols, and architectures. • Work with the team in designing, developing, and documenting the systems based on user specifications. • Troubleshoot and solve complex customer issues related to the Viz One product line. • Perform on site and remote installations of software and hardware.
I was a full time consultant for Vizrt as their systems engineer. As a part of their project team, I worked on the following projects: BBC Scotland, upgrading their MAM system; Sky News (UK), news library digitalization; TV4 (Sweden), new MAM system for their coverage of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
