Auckland, New Zealand
I've spent the past 15+ years in infrastructure, public and private sector across a range of delivery and consulting roles. However, most of my key roles have been focussed on the delivery of major projects or programmes. From planning, design, through to procurement, commercial management, construction and handover into operations. I'm a strong leader, problem solver, and I develop effective teams with positive team cultures. As part of the Delivery Management Team at Aurecon, I get to work closely with all of our technical disciplines and never stop learning. And in client-side roles, I enjoy being close to the decision-making and shaping positive outcomes for our infrastructure.
I specialise in client-side roles, supporting Programme and Project Delivery, Investment decision-making, programme prioritisation, contract and interface management. Our Delivery Management Team works closely with our technical and design disciplines providing our clients with services across: Procurement services (Tender evaluations and Constructability input) Construction Surveillance and Quality Assurance (SQA) Contract Administration and Management Constructability Reviews Safety in Design HSES Monitoring
Our Infrastructure Advisory group helps resolve our clients' infrastructure and asset related issues by focusing on our clients' service delivery outcomes, strategic decision-making frameworks, improving procurement and value for money, asset alignment and due diligence. My project roles focussed on Strategic Investment Decision-Making and Major Projects Delivery, across transport, education, built environments, Telco, manufacturing, and the energy and water sectors. As People and Team Engagement Lead my core function was fostering a high-performing positive team culture and learning and development. A big part of this was looking after our cohort of consultants across NZ in their early career; through project resourcing, project performance support, on the job coaching and process improvement.
As Auckland Team Lead I looked after the line management, learning and development, and daily operations of the Auckland Infrastructure Advisory (IA) team. Key Project roles were Client interface management, Strategic Investment decision-making, and major projects delivery across Rail, Education, Built Environments, Telco and Water Infrastructure.
