Manage case files, ensuring up-to-date legal documentation. Assist solicitors in drafting legal documents e.g. Appearances, Defences, Affidavits etc… and correspondence to support case preparations. Liaise with clients, counsel and experts providing updates and handling sensitive information. Coordinate schedules and appointments for solicitors and clients effectively. Schedule settlement talks/consultation meetings on cases. Prepare briefs for counsel, engineers, and medical experts. Transcribe dictation using BigHand. Daily use of Keyhouse Case Management, iManage 10, InterAction, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Work on my own initiative to prioritise daily tasks to keep in line with timeframes/deadlines. Manage client accounts and billing through Elite 3E. Arrange travel and bookings for fee earners attending conferences. Organise client service events.
