About

As a new, enthusiastic graduate from the University of Derby, with a 1st Honours degree in Psychology with industrial placement year, I am excited to bring my current skillset to a new work environment make differences which benefits others. During my placement I worked within the NHS (previously Health Education England) gaining professional experience while completing administrative duties across various teams in a remote setting. These experiences allowed the development of transferable skills including great problem solving, communication, customer service, and strong teamwork among others. My current career goal is to assume an entry level position where I can take on increased responsibility within a team and expand my developed skills.

      Throughout my second year at University I aided my Lecturer, Chris Barnes ,with his study concerning a Fathers experience of having a child with Cystic Fibrosis. During the unpaid 33hours I dedicated, I helped to recruit participants for his study, through contacting admins of relevant Facebook groups and posting about the study. I completed some transcription on the interviews taken place with Chris, as well as streamlining the participant information sheet allowing the information to flow better and for the study to become more accessible.
