• Perform operational tasks within GTA in HR by coordinating and scheduling U.S. and International entry-mid level interviews across all divisions. • Effectively communicating and adapting to varying levels of leadership ensuring interviews are scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Maximizing hiring manager and recruiter partnership with scheduling needs by proactive, direct planning and executing. • Diligently support multiple VSP programs (ELDP, FADP, IMDP, AFP, North Star) with logistics for internal and external recruiting seasons by partnering with recruiters, program managers, interview participants, and candidates to ensure efficiency, equity, and best-in-class stakeholder experiences. • Provide end-to-end accurate and concise written communications while completing administrative tasks ranging from pre-season event and calendar invite management, to interviewer tracking, through day-of troubleshooting during Vanguard Interview Days. • Meticulously and compassionately lead new hires for Personal Investor division for entry-mid level roles through their pre-employment journey. As a co-lead and direct point of contact, I guide new hires through pivotal tasks including background check data entry, drug screening, and fingerprints. Effectively and proactively communicate with internal partners such as: Prescreening, Licensing & Registration, and Crew Onboarding, to ensure deadlines are met to create a seamless onboarding experience. • Continuously interacting with internal partners via email and phone calls to circumvent issues that I notice mid-process to avoid candidate disturbance or potential re-work. • Previous RFH lead for 9 divisions, upskilled peers to transition as point of contacts as Personal Investor needed a second RFH SME. • Owner of creating and implementing training schedule to upskill new team members when demand/capacity shifts. Lead hands-on trainer for all 3 function-based bodies of work – interview scheduling, RFH, VSP.
• Served clients in vibrant phone role within the Personal Investor Group, anticipated client needs regarding opening new retail accounts, asset transfers (up to $500K) and rollovers (unlimited $ amount) by actively and appropriately informed clients of next steps for success. • Analyzed patterns as NIGO (Not in Good Order) SME with data derived from dashboard to upskill teammates of resolutions via presentation. Confirmed following month that team NIGO results were reduced. • Member of JOBs Tool Pilot Problem Solving to reduce internal misrouted phone calls and granted access for Thomson One (Transfer of Assets) Software as a centralized resource for my peer team.
• Facilitated interview scheduling of entry and mid-level roles for internal and external candidates across Vanguard by partnering with recruiters and hiring manager teams. • Managed multiple interviewers' calendars to coordinate mutual time for US and Global sites; booked virtual and in-person logistics, including travel arrangements, for my own queue and teammates as needed. • Assisted Crew Onboarding team on Corporate Onboarding dates with in person I-9 Verification for new hires. • Proactively found ways to eliminate waste within team’s training schedule to aid trainers and new hires; reconfigured topics and timelines to reduce overall length of training and saved days of time.
• Efficiently multi-tasked driving Occupancy, ADR and RevPAR metrics with social group sales, transient guest bookings, meeting space sales, local negotiated rates, corporate & project sales. • Collaborated with on-site Country Club Event Venue to best accommodate guests at Courtyard by Marriott/Springfield with luxury suite bookings, wedding room blocks, day after breakfast, amongst other accommodations. • Promoted to Dual Sales Manager in April 2019 with newly built Fairfield Inn & Suites/Broomall. Continued to manage the Courtyard in Springfield, total room count increased to 210 and total meeting rooms doubled.
• Surpassed expectations in fast-paced, high volume, hospitable environment during reservation and execution of events. Event types included memorial luncheons, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, reunions, corporate meetings and more. • Successfully balanced needs and demands of new event leads with existing clients while supporting events team leading up to, during and after events. Across all event types, responsibilities included: preparation, including set up of room (floor plan, linens), decorations (centerpieces, accessory tables), table settings (flatware, glasses), food service, and breakdown.
