Key wins include: > Delivered 10% relative reduction in defects year-over-year for Alexa customers in 15 regions worldwide. Influenced across 3 VP organizations to define goals and prioritize AI advances to improve Alexa's accuracy. > Defined three-year vision, strategy, and goals to transition Alexa entity resolution to an ML-based vector search solution. Grew adoption of ML search platform from 15% to 50% of ER traffic while maintaining 4.2/5 CSAT.
I delivered a proposal for a new service and data pipeline to learn, aggregate, and vend entity popularity signals. Collaborated with 4 stakeholder teams to define use cases and secure resourcing to perform experiments.
I lead System Engineering for the detailed and final design phase of the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) Enclosure. When built, TMT will be the largest observatory telescope in the world. I delivered technical requirements, risk and mitigation plan, testing and validation plan, and failure mode analysis.
I designed the ride vehicle concept and modelled vehicle dynamics for a unique new attraction (Universal Studio's Mario Kart).
I lead team of 3 engineers to deliver industry-first prototype of robotic optical polishing system (company seed investment). I demonstrated nanometer-level polishing accuracy and formed University partnership to continue R&D.
