Linsey Griffin, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota specializing in the development of wearable health and safety products. Her specialites and expertise include dynamic anthropometry, and sizing and fit research, and the development of methods and tools for 3D body and hand scanning. She has conducted wearable product research with organizations including Kimberly Clark Corporation, Park Nicollet Health Services, 3M, and Toyota. Linsey’s design, research, and teaching perspectives are informed by international apparel industry experience in the United States, England, South Korea, India, and Spain. She received a Ph.D. and M.S. in Apparel studies from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Textile and Apparel Design from Cornell University.
