Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland
I have worked 7 years in Helsinki University of Technology (predecessor of Aalto University) and 10 years full time in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. During those years, I have lectured numerous undergraduate and graduate courses on electronics, computer-aided circuit design, physics, DSP, circuit theory, automotive electronics, electric vehicle engineering, electricity distribution and accounting and electrical safety. I'm particularly interested in electrical safety and electric vehicle technology with all of its aspects, from fire safety till public adoption and charging system safety and standards. I'm also a fluent public speaker - even with large audiences and TV.
I work as an external technical expert in assessing the bodies under FINAS accreditation.
After working 10 years as full-time tenured Senior Lecturer, I continue as a Senior Advisor in Metropolia. I am "the on-call-duty electrical safety guy" available for consulting in product development projects and training sessions for degree students and customers of Metropolia UAS.
