High school journalism taught me how message clarity builds trust—and how the right story, told the right way, can inform, inspire, and spark action. That early passion led to a career in strategic communications, where I help organizations articulate their values and connect with the people who matter most. Known for a steady, empathetic leadership style, I’m someone who shows up level headed —especially when things feel uncertain. With almost two decades in communications, I’ve developed and led strategies across corporate communications, crisis management, executive visibility, digital, and strategic business initiatives. Oversee corporate, product, executive visibility, and crisis communications
As the communications lead for a C-suite executive, I lead internal and external strategic communications efforts focusing on corporate responsibility and diversity, equity and inclusion. In this newly created role, I defined communications priorities, KPIs and successfully implemented a strategic communications plan that resulted in the leader being honored in as a DE&I Trailblazer in a top-tier business publication.
Key areas of focus: executive communications, social media strategy, digital content, media relations and communications strategy Manage CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion’s (CEO Action) social media programs from strategy to execution, both paid social media and paid search outperformed benchmarks Design CEO Action’s awards program, 90% of award submissions were recognized Oversee development of the Beyond the Bottom Line series, which had a 49% viewership rate (more than doubling the website’s average) Support executive leaders with external opportunities from speaking engagements, media opportunities and university visits Manage agencies and lead a comprehensive social media and proactive media strategy for CEO Action campaigns such as the Check Your Blind Spots tour, Day of Understanding and CEO Action anniversary Create more than a dozen communications tools and messages for signatories to leverage within respective organizations Cultivate key relationships with signatories to identify media opportunities and external spokespeople to bolster the coalition brand
