• Provide electrical engineering support and project coordination across a wide range of projects. • Create detailed design and documentation for the manufacture or overhaul of electrical equipment. • Ensure all equipment and designs are fit for purpose and meet all relevant standards. • Undertake and assist with conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs. • Provide assistance and contribute technical ideas in the development of engineering proposals. • Determine the type and arrangement of circuits, circuit-breakers, conveyor junction boxes and other equipment. • Establish purchasing for electrical equipment and cables. • Supervise the manufacturing process of relevant electrical switchboards and equipment.
• Research: Based on the given draft datasheet, create the completed design for the project (i.e., the function, the connected components, the layout, etc.) • Flexibility: Based on the given completed datasheet, analyse whether the recommended electrical components are available to be used and find the replaced one if necessary • Eager to learn: Willing to learn everything that is able to support the project; self-research the definition and function of the new electrical component before making its footprint or adding to the design
• Organisation: Check and track the electrical components, equipment regarding category and quality before every laboratory class; report any failure items. • Knowledge enhancement: Enrich knowledge by researching and updating the most recent technical information; discuss with teachers frequently to avoid lagging knowledge happen. • Management: Capture students’ study abilities to make suitable plan for any slow understanding student or desired one and keep track of progress. • Flexibility: Consider different learning style and speed of students then adapting tutorial method to support and enhance their logical ability.
• Interpersonal skill: Interact with students frequently and create friendly environment to help them feel comfortable to ask questions. • Responsibility: Support students until completing homework assignments; identify their lacking skills and suggest solutions. • Eager to learn: Attend teaching workshop to update effective tutorial skills and utilise them with different learning style; listen to students’ feedback to make an improvement.
