Responsible for implementing the RAC strategic management framework, ensuring alignment and co-ordination with business units to that framework. This included reporting on the achievement of Group strategic targets and goals and recommending actions where appropriate. I also undertook strategic analysis, scenario planning and performance analysis and provided insights, analysis and recommendations to determine actions. Specific activities included: • Leading and providing input into business development projects including new business opportunities, process improvements, strategic and financial analysis, business case development and project execution. • Building and managing relationships with businesses and stakeholders across the Group and externally to facilitate the delivery of the Group business development agenda, as well as supporting individual business units in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. • Building a strong understanding of individual business unit ‘clients’ operations, markets and strategies through development of strong relationships and building of industry knowledge. • Providing strategy advice to those ‘clients' through undertaking strategic, business and financial analysis, including feedback on their strategic plans, as well as market and process analysis. • Development of policies, discussion and recommendation papers, and presentations to stakeholders as required.
Assist government, private and not-for-profit organizations in the development of their strategic plans, including benchmarking, identification of performance metrics, stakeholder engagement and project management.
Assisted clients in achieving their business objectives and program outcomes through the development of strategic solutions and implementation frameworks. Specifically, the role included delivering the following services for clients: - Evaluation and review of programs, policies and strategies - Strategic business planning - Performance management of government and non-government organisations - Feasibility studies and external impact assessments - Change management
