I am an External Engagement and Communications professional working in higher education, with experience across alumni relations, community partnerships, and nonprofit storytelling. In my current role at UNSW Canberra (ADFA), I support alumni engagement, faculty and industry connections, and cross-campus collaboration, working with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen long-term relationships and institutional impact. Alongside my work in higher education, I have a long-standing professional interest in climate change, sustainability, and community-led responses to complex challenges. I previously led public education and outreach for a conservation nonprofit, delivering large-scale community programs across cultural and educational institutions, and I continue to build experience in climate engagement, resilience, and climate literacy through ongoing professional development. I am particularly interested in work that sits at the intersection of community engagement, systems change, and climate action.
Supports UNSW Canberra’s external engagement activities across alumni relations, events, fundraising, sponsorship, and industry engagement. Works with faculty and university stakeholders to coordinate engagement initiatives, support donor stewardship and cultivation, and deliver engagement programs aligned with UNSW’s alumni strategy and campus priorities.
I supported the Advancement Office and liaised with internal and external stakeholders, including students, staff, and alumni of Burgmann College, to craft compelling fundraising-focused stories about Burgmann College's rich history, outstanding current and former residents, and its bright and empowered future.
Supported over 700+ candidates through the application and vetting process to work for the Australian Electoral Commission during the 2023 Referendum.
Worked with adult clients whose postural alignment issues ranged from tennis elbow to sciatica. Managed Wordpress blog related to postural alignment issues, with an emphasis on scoliosis. Led community seminars on topics such as how to prevent body aches while working at a desk, observing our daily movement ecology, and addressing general postural imbalances.
I reviewed and edited appraisal reports of commercial, industrial, and multi-family properties located in and around the greater Houston area, using big data sources to create appraisal reports for properties affected by Hurricane Harvey.
