Remote Year runs work and travel programs for professionals who want to live and work in different cities around the world without having to compromise their professional pursuits. While on Remote Year, I lived in 12 countries across 5 continents. I visited 35 countries and redeemed over a half-million miles to fly some of the best business class products in the world, or just save money by booking an economy flight. I gained global perspective and grew professionally through a variety of professional and personal development courses offered while on program. We built a tight-knit community who lived, worked, and traveled together for 12 months. I picked up a little bit of Spanish, and learned how to navigate daily life in a variety of countries where I didn't speak the language. Importantly, I also learned that I can handle any problem that comes along - broken phone, lost luggage, missed flights, negotiating deals, starting a blog and learning Wordpress - everything is "figure-out-able"
