At Elephas, leadership in scientific communications combines with a deep expertise in microscopy to drive innovation and disseminate knowledge. Our team works cross-functionally with our external collaborators, researchers and leadership partners to share our science through publications. Previously at Lockwood, my role as Scientific Director centered on leading medical strategies and content development, which facilitated advisory boards in identifying educational gaps and data generation needs. With a strong foundation in physiology and cell biology, we've effectively engaged the medical community, ensuring that scientific insights translate into meaningful advancements in patient care.
● Leads a cross-functional team in the creation of medical content for pharmaceutical companies in neurology (Alzheimer’s disease and insomnia), oncology (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, endometrial cancer, differentiated thyroid cancer), and rare disease (gene editing therapy) ● Engages with key opinion leaders to develop and execute educational symposia for health care providers ● Leads medical strategy and creates content for medical affairs advisory boards to identify gaps in disease state medical education, understand treatment landscapes, and uncover data generation needs ● Captures key insights and detailed notes during advisory board meetings and thought leader engagements discussing diagnostic modalities such as positron emission tomography (PET), cerebral spinal fluid (CSF), and blood-based biomarkers (BBBM) ● Practices pharmacovigilance in all business activities and adheres to strict compliance standards to remain within the bounds of applicable laws and regulations ● Provides research and creates outputs for competitive analyses and literature reviews ● Manages and trains junior staff
