My name is Lindsay Stone. I am an Electrical Engineering Major at Michigan Technological University, expected to graduate in Spring 2028. I am looking for an internship for the coming summer with applications to electrical engineering. Over the summer, I worked with PLCs to provide data analysis for plant lines and understanding the production numbers. I also researched MES systems and provided a recommendation for implementation for future systems. These helped to expand my knowledge of the engineering world and create greater opportunities for the future. When in high school, I was very involved in my FIRST Robotics team (302, The Dragons). While there, I spent lots of time building baseline knowledge about all thing electrical, which is where I found my passion to be. I became the lead of the electrical team during my senior year, which grew my skills further by putting me in a leadership position, having me teach younger students as well as learning from them.
I researched MES systems and gave a recommendation for implementation. I also worked on PLC programs that would track time management issues on the plant floor and visited plants to continue it's implementation.

Wired, built, and calibrated devices for test carts. - Lead calibration activities Transitioned records from flat file to cloud. Managed calibration records. Completed calibration of testing and production equipment. - Built motor controllers to test DC motor functions. - Lead intern group, organizing multiple manufacturing plant tours. - Presented findings in small group meetings.
