Dr. Lindsay Coome is an experienced UX researcher with a proven track record in user research, data science, project management, and strategic planning. Her expertise encompasses end-to-end user research, and she has successfully applied her knowledge in both academic and industry environments. With a PhD in experimental psychology and neuroscience from the University of Toronto, Dr. Coome brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and practical experience to her work. At Surgo, I integrated tools from behavioral science, data science, and artificial intelligence to solve global health and social impact problems. • Led research collaboration with Facebook (Meta) on a vaccine hesitancy in the U.S. general population; research was leveraged in numerous behavioural interventions in the D.C. area and highlighted in an NYT Op-Ed • Led a research collaboration with Uber to evaluate impact of eliminating barriers to transportation, resulting in reduced travel time and improving appointment attendance; this work was highlighted by the White House's Maternal Health Day of Action and Uber is currently scaling the program and using these findings to advocate for integration of the service into Medicaid
