I am passionate about two areas of my career: Film & Television Makeup and Hair Design – bringing characters to life through artistry, continuity, and creative direction. Over the past four years, I have focused on film and TV, working as a Makeup & Hair Designer and Head of Department on multiple productions in Australia. Training and Education for Beauty Brands – as the founder of Kohl Makeup Academy, I spent more than a decade designing courses, mentoring aspiring artists, and leading quality-assured vocational training. I specialise in developing engaging education strategies, delivering national training programs, and building the confidence and skills of teams. I thrive in roles where artistry and leadership meet—whether that’s designing looks on set or inspiring and developing professionals through training. My goal is to continue contributing to both the creative world of film/TV and the growth of leading beauty brands through education.

Previously, I owned and operated Kohl Makeup Academy, where I trained and mentored hundreds of aspiring artists, expanded the academy to multiple locations, and developed programs that ensured graduates met the highest industry standards.
Kohl Makeup Academy is a vocational training provider offering internationally accredited qualifications in makeup artistry. The academy delivers hands-on instruction that equips students with both practical skills and theoretical knowledge to succeed in the industry. Programs are designed to be industry-relevant, bridging the gap between education and professional practice. In my role as founder, I played a pivotal part in establishing and growing the academy into a leading vocational training provider in South Africa by: Developing comprehensive training resources and assessments to ensure consistency and quality across all programs. Mentoring trainers and franchisees, fostering a culture of professional development and best practice. Collaborating with stakeholders to align educational strategies with business objectives, driving measurable improvements in training outcomes.
