• Coordinate academic planning and course registration sessions for over 100 new students during Orientation Week. • Serve as liasons between Baker College and Office of Academic Advising. • Provide accurate advice regarding specific courses, co-curricular opportunities, and academic rules and procedures. • Assist students with 4-year-plan and major/course selection and plan events for Office of Academic Advisement outreach to students at Baker College.
• Advise graduate and undergraduate students in academic and business writing during 1:1 appointments.
• Mental Health First Aid trained to facilitate conversations surrounding mental and physical well-being on campus. • Coordinate engaging events and design educational programs to encourage students to reach out for help when needed. • Serve as liaisons between Baker College’s 400 students and the Student Wellbeing Office.

• Lead shift of students in improving quality of patient discharge at Ben Taub Hospital—directing patients to most affordable pharmacies, educating and familiarizing patients with local medical, social, and financial programs and resources to improve their post-hospital quality of life. • Attend bimonthly meetings to discuss updates and potential improvements to the organization • Assess patients’ socioeconomic needs by analyzing individual patient screening surveys on social resources. • Communicate with patients 1 week and 1 month after discharge to improve medication adherence and follow-up appointment attendance.
