• Responsible for the entire engineering, maintenance and facilities team for Shein's business units in Brazil. • Management and implementation of all automation projects. • Responsible for validating and optimizing operational layouts, capacity studies and process improvement projects, connecting all departments and stakeholders. • Seek innovative solutions within the industry and develop business cases for decision-making in investment projects. Major Achievements: • Implementation of a complex set of automated parcel sorting equipment as part of a USD 20 million investment, consisting of 16 sorting systems and totaling over 1,680 AGV robots from a Chinese supplier—the first of its kind in all Latin America. The implementation was completed in record time with an entirely local team, which was strategically internalized to become part of the maintenance crew. This project enabled processing capacity of over 1 million parcels per day and resulted in a 70% reduction in headcount, generating monthly savings of approximately USD 2 million. • Led the setup of the Maintenance and Facilities department, building a team of 100+ professionals in under six months. Successfully managed the full contracting of building services, including contract negotiation and Installation of power generators across three warehouses (totaling 214,000 m²); Hiring of technical and automation-specialized labor; Deployment of electrical and network infrastructure for all operational areas; Cleaning services and implementation of a centralized stockroom.
• Maintenance and Automation coordinator of the biggest and most important Fulfillment Warehouse of the company, managing 100% of intralogistics automation demands. • Design, develop, and deploy scalable automation solutions. • Responsible for all electrical infrastructure and implementations related to increased demand and customer developments. • Led the Control Tower team, overseeing the remote and real-time monitoring of all equipment and SCADA systems across multiple operational sites. Responsible for ensuring operational continuity, early detection of failures, and quick response to incidents. Implemented monitoring protocols and performance dashboards that improved equipment uptime, reduced downtime, and supported data-driven decision-making for maintenance and operations. Major Achievements: • I was responsible for implementing the company’s largest Crossbelt Sorter installation and commissioning, capable of processing over 17,000 packages per hour. This innovation enabled the company to become the first e-commerce platform in Latin America to offer same-day delivery for its packages. • I also implemented a comprehensive energy consumption monitoring system for all fulfillment centers across Brazil. This initiative allowed for the identification of energy losses and presented opportunities for cost reduction, resulting in an annual savings of approximately BRL 1 million.
