I am currently a Registered Nurse working at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). Throughout my clinical placement at KTPH, I was exposed to a variety of disciplines, this has led me to discover my passion in caring for geriatric patients.
Assisted in the care of elderly patients in a Geriatric ward.
Assisted in care of patients with cardiovascular diseases in a Cardiology ward.
Assisted in caring of patients with different medical condition in a General medical ward.
Assisted in a surgical ward to help out with the following: - Provided pre and post-operative nursing care to 5 surgical patients per shift. - Focused on performing wound care, removing stitches and collecting specimens.
Assisted in a medical ward to help out with the following: - Performed assessment of functional health patterns, skin assessment, pressure ulcer assessment and measures to reduce fall risk. - Applied care of patient on physical restrains.
