I am currently a year 3 student in Nanyang Polytechnic pursuing the Diploma in Business Enterprise IT. I was an ITE graduate before i came to NYP to continue my studies scoring a GPA of 3.1. As i had been studying in both ITE and now NYP, I had accumulated a wide variety of skills sets such as java programming,HTML 5 ,Object-Oriented Programming,ABAP Programming , business analysis , video production and photography . The one thing that sets me apart from most of my peers is the fact that i had already gone through internship program in my final year in my ITE course with One Net Communications PTE LTD .I also have some working experience in sales and the F&B industry. I am someone who can work well in a team setting and being a team player who can contribute to my team members . I am also quite an outgoing person .Apart from working well in a team setting, i can work independently but needs a bit of time to lean something but new once i am able to understand the work i can work at a faster pace and complete the task given to me with a good quality .
I worked for Toshiba during an IT show back in December of 2015 from the 7th to the 10th. I had never worked as a sales promoter so when my classmate asked if i wanted to work at the IT show i agreed as i wanted to try new things. My main job scope was to promote the sales of IT products such as thumb drives and hard disk drives. I also had to explain the benefits of their products and answer customer's enquiries .
I Started working at pizza Hut in the year 2014 from 27 October to 18 December at the west Mall branch. I wanted to work in the F&B industry at that time because i was curious and so i applied and worked there for 3 months as a part-time kitchen staff. M y main responsibilities were setting up the kitchen utensils, help prepare the ingredients of the pizza and other food. I also tried out being a waiter even tough it was not in my job scope . I help taking customer orders and delivering the order to the customers.
