The Westin Haikou is the first Westin brand business hotel in the city center of Hainan, but it remains many leftover problems as of year 2012. The hotel started pre-opening from 2012 and pending in December 2014 due to owner's issues, while it resumed in 2018. However, teh hotel construction and decoration was not completed and most of the item had to be resigned to be lined with brand standard. Hotel operating equipment’s had been in store for years and will had to renew. It also required a lot of effort to regain market reputations. Main Responsibility and Achievement In charge of the hotel pre-opening team and preliminary accomplished the Pre-opening Budget and the Strategic Plan. Organized 12 hotel associates to make inventory of the hotel operating equipments and completed inventory report as well as HOE handling report. Total HOE items are 3500 kinds / 46K pieces and amounts at RMB14 million. Help owner save approximately RMB18K labor force cost. Assisted owner to process more than 200 suppliers' contract disputes including contract sorting, conciliation and negotiation. Liaised with Marriott GDAP and owner's engineering department to follow up with hotel renovation plan, design and artwork proposal to in order to save operating cost and keep competitive.
