Despite having been academically trained in the field of legal education, I always have a keen interest to learn new skills and try to connect different factors together in order to see how they interplay to form the big picture. I always try to look at a problem from different perspectives and compare the potential outcomes to decide on the most optimal solution- ie. applying creativity in legal interpretations to achieve the intended results while mitigating potential legal risks through ensuring it is ultimately in compliance with the law. Internationally-minded due to having lived in Japan for close to 3 years as a child, 5 years at a boarding school, 2 years at a British boarding school in Malaysia, 3 years of Undergraduate studies at the UK, the rest of my life in Kuala Lumpur and currently 14 years in Belgium. Achieved straight A’s in academics throughout school years in Malaysia, obtained a high Second Class Upper in Law Degree in Manchester in 2009, worked for 2 years in a government-related institution, graduated with a high Distinction in LLM at the University of Gent in 2012.

Responsible for the follow-up and audit of the financial documents of the churches in Oostende. Also responsible for various work procedural changes in the department, such as the late-payment interests and one of the catalysator for process improvements in the department.
In het project erkende vluchtelingen hulpverlening aan vluchtelingen bieden bij hun zoektocht naar werk en hen begeleiden bij hun integratie. Beleidsondersteuning bieden om de organisatie cultuursensitief te maken en voor de ontwikkeling van een toolbox voor hulpverleners.
