IAESTE, International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience is an international organisation providing internships through an exchange program for technical students. In IAESTE on International level, I gave training in Jobraising (contacting companies to obtain internships) and Company Raising and designed promotional flyers in several countries.
IAESTE LC Ghent is a local group of IAESTE, International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience. As the president of the local committee is was the main student contact point of the university concerning IAESTE in Ghent. I lead a team of 12 people, organized many events and organized housing for about 100 incoming international students. Each year as a team we raised 100+ internships.
VTK, Vlaamse Technische Kring, is the student union of all engineering and architecture students at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Ghent University. As IAESTE President I was the main responsible for IAESTE (internships abroad) and the contact between the organisations VTK and IAESTE.

As Secretary I was responsible for the contacts with the alumni and the members. I was also responsible for administration and preparing the meetings.
