Started with being an Engineering Management Associate in SMRT, which manages one of the world's top public transport system, I have gained experience in maintaining and operating Rolling Stock and Train-borne Signalling and Communication systems. My involvement in Thomson-East Coast Line has also allowed me to collaborate with multiple contractors from different countries. As a highly-motivated learner who is interested in engineering and technology, I have also never stopped taking initiative to experience multi-disciplinary development and ensure adaptability in dynamic environments even after graduation, exploring fields ranging from aerospace to railway engineering and data science (artificial intelligence). I also take part in voluntary activities during free times to help others whenever possible.
- Automated python scripts and assisted to build dashboards to support business teams in making data-driven solutions. - Extracted KPI (Key Performance Indexes) through databases using SQL and Python. - Analysed operational KPIs across all regions. - Conducted root cause analysis for at-risk or failed KPIs. - Collaborated with teams across all regions to resolve KPI failures and identify gaps to pioneer new ways to optimise processes and improve data integrity.
• Liaise with multiple teams from multiple departments and different contractors and authorities to investigate the root cause of various faults belonging to Rolling Stock and Train-borne Signalling and Communication Systems. • Assisted to manage corrective maintenance tasks, through ensuring that all reported faults and delays daily are handled by maintenance team and findings are reported accurately to multiple stakeholders. • Co-author Written Instruction that adheres to maintenance manuals and formatting requirements. • Collaborate with multiple departments and contractors for Data Registration on Maximo (Maintenance Management System). • Fault trending for multiple rolling stock subsystems. • Studied and authored detailed descriptions for approximately 1000 parameters included in event recorder of TEL Trains.
• Participated in stress analysis of A320/321 aircraft’s passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion programme. • Ensured zero errors and ambiguities of aircraft’s stress report file extracted from aircraft’s FEM Model in Patran. • Checked Engineering Analysis Reports for A330 P2F Programme and tabulated documents on Windchill. • Self-designed excel stress maps of 2 fuselage skin sections and landing gear bay for A320/321 P2F aircrafts.
• Demonstrated efficiency in weapon handling and counter terrorism act under stressful situations. • Corresponded with clients in cash transferal under tight timelines. • Achieved 0 discrepancy and 100% completion of tasks assigned daily.
