• Researched murine neurocognitive models of aging to investigate successful cognitive aging. • Worked with postdoctoral research fellows to develop and plan experiments investigating cortical atrophy and memory retention in rodent models.

• Supported Dr. Dani Smith and Dr. Jay Baraban for the upper-level neuroscience class "Diseases and Disorders of the Nervous System" AS.080.360. • Graded student exams, created annotated lecture slides for weekly class lecturers, led exam review sessions for a class of 94 students, and answered student questions and concerns via email and office hours.
• Assisted residents in memory care with activities of daily living including eating, personal hygiene, toileting, ambulating. • Maintained resident room and facility cleanliness, monitor resident status, and engage residents in activities and events.
• Conducted independent research in the Translational Neurobiology Laboratory led by Dr. Wenzhen Duan • Received the JHU Provost’s Undergraduate Research Award (PURA) from 2019-2020 for “Arteriolar Abnormalities in the Progression of Huntington’s Disease” research project. • Conducted mouse behavior testing, MRI data collection, immunohistochemistry, as well as confocal and light sheet microscopy.
