- Led evidence and learning, program design, proposal development, donor relations & reporting for the hub. - Managed 2 team members and subsequently the entire team for a 6-month period in the absence of the hub's Head - Managed relationships with all implementing partners and donors: USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Milken Institute, Technical University of Denmark, Impact Hub Kigali, Outbox Uganda and UNDP. - Led WFP's first regional innovation workshop employing participatory methods and visual recording to generate shared knowledge on enablers and barriers to innovation across 10 country offices. - Designed the hub's first learning and evidence-generation plan in collaboration with WFP's regional head of evaluation and expert consultants. - Helped launch the first UN Innovation Community of Practice at the UN Africa Headquarters in Nairobi, in collaboration with WFP Kenya and the UN Innovation Network.
- Created the hub's first Theory of Change and M&E framework in collaboration with expert consultants - Supported fundraising, program design, and delivery for the newly launched WFP East Africa Innovation Hub. - Successfully won grants for proposed programming, resulting in the implementation of first-of-their-kind programs co-created with local organizations for youth innovators and local food systems business leaders across East & Central Africa
Building partnerships for and enhancing the visibility of WFP's logistics innovations in East and Central Africa and their role in getting faster, better services to more beneficiaries, reducing food waste, and minimizing WFP's carbon footprint.
Offered qualitative due diligence support for the Macarthur Foundation Catalytic Capital Consortium's USD $10M investment in One Acre Fund
