Currently an Account Manager at Havas Lynx Group, a creative healthcare agency. With a background in biomedical sciences and media production, I aim to bridge the gap between science and public by improving the communication and transparency.
Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of shifts, training the team to deliver high quality customer service, and overseeing of food safety standards and safety.
As a media intern of the communications department at Imperial College, I have had the opportunity to engage with interesting news stories and making short videos for them. This experience has been very valuable for interviewing, camera operating, editing and understanding crucial considerations when filming.
As part of the Science Media Production MSc, we had the opportunity to work at a factual production company. At Pioneer, I worked mostly in development, gaining the skills to efficiently research and summarise information for treatments for new shows.
The role of a camp counselor was very intense and required us to supervise and essentially live with the campers during the week. Each of us were assigned to a specialty for the summer, in which I was in Action Sports. This involved leading a very wide range of activities, from ropes courses to Motorsports. I learnt how to effectively manage a cabin of over 20 kids with regards to discipline, but also how to create an exciting and energetic environment for them. Towards the last 2 weeks, I trained to be a group leader and lead on my own for the last week. This involved managing 2 cabins of counselors to ensure that everything was running smoothly and to assist them wherever needed.
