Group head of the Pre-Contracts function, responsible for driving strict adherence to Kent internal governance requirements, along with Kent contractual and legal compliance frameworks. We serve as the primary point of contact for Kent customers, partners, internal stakeholders, and the Kent Board of Directors when addressing pre-award commercial matters. The Pre-Contracts function is responsible for the establishment and continued governance of the Kent Delegation of Authority (DOA) for Pursuing New Contracts with Clients. We take ownership of the tender approval process and ensure that any tender decisions binding the Kent organisation are made by Kent personnel with the proper authority. The function also provides oversight and robust tactical commercial input to all tender processes and supports the preparation of successful tender submissions. We represent Kent in commercial and contractual negotiations with clients and value-adding partners, to ensure an equitable allocation of commercial risk is achieved within all Kent prime-contract agreements.
