Promoted to Senior Quantity Surveyor on the REAL Alliance working for Murphy.
Worked as the Quantity Surveyor on Phase 2 of the REAL Alliance based up in Yorkshire. This involved working on all civils compounds for the electrification of the ECML from Doncaster to Dunbar. Previously the QS in LME working on Hs2 on Curzon Street and then within the CAM team, working with an experienced team on a variety of projects such as Structures, Earthworks and Major Projects for Network Rail as the Client. Final Accounted and close out the East Mids Framework with Network Rail as the Client.
Secondment from J Murphy’s & Sons to work for the Surerus Murphy Joint Venture on the Bear Canyon Gas Pipeline project up in Northern British Columbia and Alberta with TC Energy as the Client. Here I worked within the Commercial Team on a 25km stretch of 36 inch pipe across farmlands, major highways and wetlands. Closely worked with the Superintendent, Project Manager and Foremen on site and the Commercial Manager in Calgary.
Worked as a Quantity Surveyor in the Commercial Team on EDF (NNB) Hinkley Point C. Seconded to work for the Main Contractor in the unincorporated Joint Venture BYLOR; between Bouygues TP and Laing O'Rourke. Quantity Surveyor on the project’s Reinforcement Contract as well as managing 6 other key subcontractors. Worked on NEC3 Contracts, Options A and C.
Working on the Commercial Team on Hinkley Point C within the JV between Bouygues and Laing O’Rourke (BYLOR). Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external people/companies and liaising with Project Managers.
