• Accountable for supporting all the commercial elements in the maturation and delivery of oil/gas new business development projects from assessment till deal completion and handover to the respective Regional Leads. Work scope is global in nature and which include acquisitions, divestments and regional organic growth projects. • Overall responsibilities include leading commercial workstreams and providing support to Senior Deal Lead when leading major projects with multi-disciplinary project teams; delivering commercial implementation, negotiations and management of all internal and external stakeholders associated with the projects.
• Led the commercial and business development of Shell’s FLNG Lean design to profitably extract offshore methane-rich gas; FLNG Lean was the winner of the 2012 Shell UI Impact Award in the category of “Innovation, Sustaining Growth & Reputation” • Award recognition for leading a geopolitically complex FLNG project to achieve the lowest breakeven price in a 2012 comparison of all internal Global LNG projects at the time • Led a Non-Technical Risk, Safety and Environmental Impact Assessment review of the FLNG Lean design • Successfully cultivated and increased the FLNG business opportunity portfolio from 2 regions (in 2010) to 5 regions (by 2012) including East Africa, Middle East and East Mediterranean
