Hello! I'm Leyla Alptekin, a software engineer, and I graduated from Fırat University in 2023 with a degree in Software Engineering. I developed a senior project focusing on AI-supported driver fatigue detection, and I also served as a business analyst for about a year during my final year at school. Currently, I aim to specialize in data science and shape my career in this field. I have a strong background in Python, data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning. I am conducting data-driven analyses for the banking and finance world. In the field of digital banking, I am working with the team to develop projects and contribute to the analysis and modeling processes using data science applications. I am receiving training in finance and sustainability and participating in case studies.
Supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey In this comprehensive training program organized in collaboration with Tobeto, Enocta, Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, and Etkiyap, I gained proficiency in data science, machine learning, and data analysis. During the course, I learned data processing, modeling, and visualization techniques and developed hands-on projects.
Using methods and tools for identifying, prioritizing, coordinating, and monitoring projects, I manage the dependencies between projects and their alignment with organizational goals. Particularly in cases where projects are interdependent or connected, I ensure smooth progress by providing effective management and coordination. While working at Arçelik, this approach contributed to the successful achievement and efficient completion of various project goals.
Fırat Üniversitesi'nde Doç.Dr. Özal YILDIRIM danışmanlığında 40 günlük zorunlu stajımı tamamladım. Python ile Derin Öğrenme üzerine çalıştım ve bu süreçte Yapay Sinir Ağları, Hiperparametreler, Optimizasyon, Regularizasyon, Derin Sinir Ağları, RNN ve Kapsül Ağları gibi konular üzerinde araştırma ve projeler gerçekleştirdim. Projelerim arasında, Evrişimli Sinir Ağı ile rakam tanıma projesi (MNIST veriseti kullanarak el yazısı rakamları sınıflandırma) ve Evrişimli Sinir Ağları ile yüz görüntüsünden duygu tanıma projesi (FER-2013 veriseti ve derin öğrenme modelleri kullanarak yüz ifadelerinden duyguları sınıflandırma ) yer aldı.
