From roustabout to CEO—and beyond I started my offshore career as a roustabout in the North Sea, eventually rising to Offshore Installation Manager and Head of HSE for one of the world’s leading drilling contractors. Those decades on rigs taught me a critical lesson: procedures and systems matter, but leadership behavior under pressure is what keeps people safe and operations running. Building tools for intentional leadership In 2004, I co‑founded Equilibria, where we developed the E‑Colors personality diversity system and the Personal Intervention tool—frameworks now used by more than a million and a half people worldwide. We’ve helped Fortune 500 companies, energy giants, and non‑profits build cultures of trust, clarity, and accountability. What I do today As CEO of Equilibria, I continue to lead our organisation and innovations. I also serve as an *Intentional Leadership Advisor, working directly with Offshore Installation Managers, rig leaders, and executives in other high‑risk environments.
