The Europaeum is an association of seventeen of Europe’s leading universities. Founded in 1992 by Oxford University, and on the vision of Lord Weidenfeld, the Europaeum brings together talented students and faculty working in the Humanities and the Social Sciences, to promote a better ‘sense of Europe’ through collaboration and academic mobility. The Europaeum Scholars Programme offers a world-class two-year training programme focused on contemporary European policy. It is designed to produce a new generation of thinkers, leaders and researchers who have the capacity to shape the future of Europe for the better. It runs for two years alongside Scholars’ existing doctoral studies and is multi-disciplinary, multi-university, and multi-locational.
The European Political Strategy Centre (EPSC) is the European Commission's in-house think-tank, reporting directly to President Jean-Claude Juncker. As Policy Analyst, I worked on a wide range of cross-cutting policy domains, focusing mostly on the intersection of technological change and foreign policy. Other areas of research interest included sustainable development, European defence policy, and innovation policy. My responsibilities included: - conducting research, esp. focusing on strategic foresight and policy advice; - preparing briefings, presentations and publications; - engaging with relevant stakeholders and monitoring developments on key legislative proposals; - and providing support to the department's management and outreach activities.

The European Political Strategy Centre (EPSC) is the European Commission’s in-house think tank. Tasked with a mission to innovate and disrupt, the EPSC provides the President and the College of Commissioners with strategic, evidence-based analysis and forward-looking policy advice. Among its responsibilities, the EPSC has a mandate to engage in foresight and anticipatory governance. The EPSC also seeks to facilitate communication and outreach with decision-makers, think tanks and civil society at large. As a Blue Book trainee, I assist the economics and sustainable development units in research and analysis. Furthermore, I contribute to the drafting and editing of publications, talking points, and briefings.
